Four products will be presented at the La Cité du Vin in Bordeaux, France, on the 18th. Currently, 12 national wineries participate in the park.
Brazilian wines will once again be featured in the largest theme park in the world. On the 18th, the 8th floor of La Cité du Vin in Bordeaux, France, will receive two masterclasses - at 6:30 pm and 8:30 pm – with a national labels tasting conducted by the Brazilian sommelier Andréa Postiga. The presence of Brazil is made possible by the Wines of Brazil project, developed in partnership by the Brazilian Wine Institute (Ibravin) and the Brazilian Agency for the Promotion of Exports and Investments (Apex-Brasil) to promote Brazilian products in the international market.
The wines Dádivas Chardonnay (2015), by Lidio Carraro, and Lote 43 (2011), by Miolo, as well as Don Giovanni’s Ouro Extra Brut and Casa Perini’s Moscatel will be presented. On the same day there will also be Brazilian products training for about 25 employees of La Cité du Vin.
Since its inauguration in June 2016, the park has received about one million visitors. Currently, the Brazilian wineries Aurora, Campos de Cima, Casa Perini, Casa Valduga, Domno, Don Giovanni, Lidio Carraro, Miolo, Mioranza, Nova Alliance, Peterlongo and Salton are present.
Ibravin Promotion Manager, Diego Bertolini, points out that the action this month has the main objective of spreading the image of Brazilian wine abroad, since the space is visited by people from different continents. According to Bertolini, one of the goals is to strengthen the Brazilian position among the main producers and as a reference in the elaboration of sparkling wines among the countries of the Southern Hemisphere.
"All the products are selling in both the Wine Bar and the Wine Store of La Cité du Vin, which ends up generating a good opportunity for the visitors who participate in the tastings to take the wines home", he says.
