The unique experience of producing wine in the 8th parallel in the Southern Hemisphere attracted to Brazil the Portuguese group Dão Sul, which founded Vinibrasil in 2003 in Vale do São Francisco. The project's success can be measured both by the quality of the products and their great acceptance in the domestic and international markets. Owning 200 hectares of vineyards planted in semi-arid areas, the company produces 1.1 million liters annually. The red and white varieties are grown based on the company's own techniques for this type of soil and climate. Along with the other wineries in the region, Vinibrasil is helping to write a new chapter in the history of the world's winemaking.
